Future Construction Projects

Just as Hillsdale College has a vision and purpose for educating its students, it has a Master Plan for its campus that will provide the best facilities for faculty, staff and students.  The College has completed construction of John and Dede Howard Music Hall, two new classroom and faculty office buildings, Lane Hall and Kendall Hall and a new dormitory, The Suites.  The Grewcock Student Union nears completion, and the renovation of Strosacker Science Center and its expansion with the addition of the Joseph H. Moss Family Laboratory Wing began in Spring 2007.  Mossey Library's new entrance is complete, and plans call for a colonnade to connect it to the Student Union.  Future plans include the construction of a chapel/performing arts center, an intramural sports building and an archive wing for the library, as well as re-facing the north end of Central Hall.  In addition, the Master Plan calls for renovations to several existing facilities, including dormitories, the Knorr Center, the Dow Leadership Center and the Roche Sports Complex.
