Beginning in January 2001, the College launched with its $400 million Founders Campaign an ambitious plan for Hillsdale’s future. It is to be the finest liberal arts college in the land...
Just as Hillsdale College has a vision and purpose for educating its students, it has a Master Plan for its campus that will provide the best facilities for faculty, staff and students. Future plans include the construction of a chapel/performing arts center, an intramural sports building, an archive wing for Mossey Library, and two new residence halls, as well as re-facing the north side of Central Hall and continuing the development of Liberty Walk. In addition, the Campus Master Plan calls for renovations to several existing facilities, including five residence halls, the Knorr Center, the Dow Leadership Center and the Roche Sports Complex.
All construction and renovation plans are a major component of the Founders Campaign, the College's $608 million capital and endowment campaign that will conclude in December 2012.
