On-Campus Employment
Working on campus is a great way to build your resume and become more involved as a student. On Handshake, you can search and apply for jobs directly through the platform.
Programs and Events

Study Abroad
Hillsdale offers extensive options for off-campus study. Each program is designed to enrich your learning with experience in a foreign country. While abroad, you remain enrolled with Hillsdale, receiving college credit for your participation, and continuing your study of the liberal arts.
Work in D.C.
The Washington-Hillsdale Internship Program (WHIP) provides Hillsdale College undergraduates the opportunity to participate in academically intensive, semester-long internships or teaching apprenticeships in Washington, D.C., while continuing your Hillsdale education. WHIP students intern for various organizations, ranging from the White House to the SEC to the Smithsonian.

Career Services takes groups of students to cities in the U.S. to meet with local employers, network with alumni, and learn more about living life in a particular city. Previous locations have included Nashville, Chicago, Detroit, and Grand Rapids. Visit Handshake to see upcoming trips and cities.
Mentorship Program
Get matched with an alumni mentor through The Hub when you sign up for Career Services’ Student/Alumni Mentorship Program; join the program here.
Pathway to Professionalism
Students discuss and learn about workplace professionalism including phone and email etiquette, professional attire, generational intelligence, and networking. The seminar is held twice per semester and is a prerequisite for WHIP.
Hillsdale Summer Fellowship
The Hillsdale Summer Fellowship emphasizes the importance of local communities and businesses for fostering positive civic engagement in the United States, helping students gain the tools they need to become leaders in their own communities after graduation. Classical School Job Fair
Career Services partners with Hillsdale K-12 to host the annual Classical School Job Fair. Students can network, apply, and interview for jobs during the fair. Contact us for upcoming dates.
Kehoe Family Initiative for Entrepreneurial Excellence
KFIEE is an intensive 5-semester fellowship for students who wish to pursue entrepreneurship as their career. Students may apply Fall Semester of their sophomore year. To learn more, or apply, click here.
