Crossing the Dardanelles, we'll spend the morning visiting Gallipoli, site of the infamous battle of WWI, where Ataturk made his name.
In the afternoon, we return to Istanbul to visit this historically rich city for several days before Thursday's departure from the airport.  There should be time on Sunday for some shopping on the streets and in the Grand Bazaar and some initial looking around the old city.
