The Chemistry Department occupies the third floors of the adjoining Strosacker Science and Dow Science buildings. The Dow Science building, first occupied in the Fall of 1996, contains two instrumental laboratories, two 6-student research laboratories, a library/seminar room, and an analytical/biochemistry laboratory. The Strosacker Science building contains laboratories for General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry.
