A minor in computational mathematics requires a minimum of 22 semester hours. The following mathematics classes are required:
MTH 120 Calculus I (or MTH 113 Integrated Calculus I-B)
MTH 220 Calculus II
And one mathematics course numbered 300 or above.
In addition, the following computer science courses are required:
CMP 101 Computer Programming I (C)
CMP 201 Computer Programming II (C)
And one three-hour elective computer science course numbered 300 or above.
Also, the minor requires one elective course of two or three hours selected from the following: an additional computer science course numbered 300 or higher not previously selected for the minor; an additional mathematics course numbered 300 or higher not previously selected for the minor; Economics 362, Biology 340 or Physics 350.
