- Freshman Year: Freshman Rhetoric and the Great Books, six hours; Finite Mathematics, Precalculus Mathematics, or Differential and Integral Calculus, eight hours; Biological Science, four hours; The Western Heritage to 1600 and The American Heritage, six hours; humanities elective, three hours; physical education (activity courses), two hours.
- Sophomore Year: Evolution and Biological Diversity, Molecular Genetics and Cellular Function, eight hours; College Physics, ten hours; General Chemistry, eight hours; Biology Seminar, one hour; CCA, one hour; humanities and social science electives, 12 hours.
- Junior Year: Experimental Design in Science, three hours; Junior Biology Seminar, three hours; CCA, one hour; Organic Chemistry, eight hours; biology electives (from advanced core), 12 hours; other electives, four to six hours.
- Senior Year: Senior Biology Seminar and Thesis, three hours; biology electives (from advanced core), four hours; other electives, 19-23 hours. (*Exceptional students may elect to take General Chemistry during the freshman year and push, to later in their college careers, The Western Heritage to 1600, The American Heritage, a humanities elective and physical education activity hours.)
