The minor in sociology requires 18 semester hours (not including Sociology 101), including Sociology 390 and 391, either 306 or 319, and nine additional hours in sociology.  (Students majoring in psychology may substitute another SOC course for SOC 390.)  Counting non-sociology courses for the minor will normally not be permitted, but exceptions are at the discretion of the sociology program director.
