Every students must choose one of the following courses:

CLS 311 Rhetoric and Persuasion in the Ancient World
SPC 290 The Western Tradition of Rhetoric I
SPC 291 The Western Tradition of Rhetoric II
SPC 455 History of American Public Address

Every student must choose one of the following courses:

BUS 315 Principles of Marketing
SPC 275 The Performing Voice
SPC 310 Argumentation: Theory and Practice
SPC 320 Advanced Public Speaking

Every students must choose one of the following courses:

SPC 285 Interpersonal Communication
SPC 325 Speech Composition
SPC 401 Theories of Persuasion

Every students must choose one* of the following courses:

IDS 312 Public Relations Internship
IDS 318 Media Internship
IDS 320 Advertising Internship
IDS 322 Publishing Internship
IDS 326 Writing Research Internship

*Internships may be taken for 1-3 hours but must equal or exceed three hours to fulfill this requirement.
Speech courses not counted toward the Speech Organizational Communication Minor: SPC 151(2)-451(2), 161(2)-461(2), 240, 301, 340, 450, 453, 463, and 575.
