Every two to three years the Tower Players send a small acting troupe to Scotland to perform for two weeks in August at the world's most famous theatre festival, the Edinburgh Fringe. The Theatre Department pays for the most expensive part of the trip: student housing and rental of the performance space. Students who go on the trip must pay for airfare and food while in Edinburgh. Students are accompanied on the trip by faculty directors and advisees. Most students who have made this trip have said it was the greatest and most memorable adventure of their college careers.
