Letter grades are used to evaluate academic achievement.
“A” = Excellent “C” = Satisfactory “F” = Failed
“B” = Good “D” = Poor “I” = Incomplete
The deficiency of incomplete must be removed not later than 28 days after the opening of the next semester. Otherwise, the grade becomes “F.”
In order to make grade computations as accurate as possible, all grades, including plus and minus designations, are given point values:
“A” = 4.0 points “B–” = 2.7 points “D+” = 1.3 points
“A–” = 3.7 points “C+” = 2.3 points “D” = 1.0 points
“B+” = 3.3 points “C” = 2.0 points “D–” = 0.7 points
“B” = 3.0 points “C–” = 1.7 points “F ” = 0.0 points
