Registration at Hillsdale College is a two-step process:
Class schedules for the upcoming semester are distributed to students during the eighth week of the semester. Students meet with their advisors for scheduling assistance and approval of course selections. Students then fill out a schedule card and pre-register in the Registrar’s Office during the tenth and eleventh week of the semester. Students pre-register in a pre-described order according to the student’s last name. This order changes from year to year and is both posted and communicated by the advisors.
All students attend registration, which takes place the two days prior to the first day of classes. Students will obtain a new copy of their class schedule for verification, and have an opportunity to make changes to their class schedule. Drop and add cards must be approved and signed by a faculty member of the relevant department.
