To access your personal directory from ResNet (dorms and Greek houses) and from off campus, follow these directions.

Note: Internet Explorer 7 or higher is strongly recommended.

If you are using Microsoft Windows, open your Internet Explorer web browser. Macintosh users need to download the WebDAV client Goliath. Then enter the settings below into Goliath.

1. From the File menu, select Open.
2. Check the box for Open as Web Folder.
3. In the Open dialog box type in the appropriate address from the list below:
• Student P: Drive - https://www.hillsdale.edu/fs2/students/ followed by your Hillsdale College network user name (typically, first initial and last name)
• Faculty & Staff P: Drive - https://www.hillsdale.edu/fs1/users/ followed by your Hillsdale College network user name (typically, first initial and last name)
• All Users TA: Drive - https://www.hillsdale.edu/fs1/ta/
4. Click OK.
5. After you click OK, you will be prompted to enter your username and password.  This is the same username and password used to log into campus computers and email.  If there is a Domain field, enter HILLSDALE.
6. The contents of your personal folder will appear.

Note: Copying and pasting files from a network drive back and forth is faster and more secure than editing them online.
