A New Era Begins

Former junior varsity coach, Rich Milligan, has moved up to be the head of the boys' varsity basketball program for the 2009-10 season.  Milligan steps in for longtime great, Max Miller.  Miller coached for over 50 years at seven different schools, compiling a career record of over 400 wins.  While at the Academy, he went 72-54 over six seasons winning three conference championships.  Milligan will be joined by Hillsdale Academy Upper School science/math teacher, Michael Nikkila, and former Colt standout, Thomas Harner.  The Colts will compete in the SCAA for the second season and will be led by first team all-conference selection, junior Peter Sullivan.
