Varsity Basketball Wins Share of Conference Title

The boys varsity basketball team won a share of the Mid-South Conference Title for the third time in five years.  The Colts finished conference play with an 8-2 record closing out the season with a thrilling overtime win over Calhoun Christian.  Juniors Patrick Sullivan, Ethan Smith and Zach Lefere, along with freshman Peter Sullivan, earned all-conference honors.

The team faced its toughest schedule in school history and posted a 10-11 overall record giving head coach Max Miller his 410th win of his career.  The Colt's season came to an end with a loss to Pittsford in the district tournament.  The team was assisted by Jono Smith and Rick Milligan.  The senior players were Kevin Potts, Josh Snell and Brian Thomas.

Next year, Hillsdale Academy will move into the South Central Athletic Association.  This move marks an end to the Colts participation in the Mid-South Conference. The entire starting line-up will return for a much anticipated 2008-09 season.
