Falk, Stomps achieve All-American status at Division II track and field championships
May 26, 2008 - One school getting two All-Americans in track is a noteworhty accomplishment. Getting two in the same event falls into the "amazing" category.

But that's just what Hillsdale College men's outdoor track and field teammates Jason Stomps and Aaron Falk accomplished at this weekend's NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Mt. Sac College in Walnut, California.

Falk set a new school record in the hammer throw with a toss of 199 feet, one inch to finished third overall in the nation. He entered the event ranked seventh in the nation. He broke a school record set by Stomps just three weeks earlier.

Stomps finished eighth in the nation in the same event. This is the second year in a row Stomps has earned All-American honors in the outdoor hammer throw.
