2010: Enjoyed an outstanding season, getting named the D2football.com’s Division II national defensive player of the week on Sept. 27…Earned the honor after a 16-tackle performance against Lake Erie…Had a blocked punt, an interception in the end zone, and a fumble return for touchdown in the win over the Storm…Was the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week that week as well…Finished the season second on the team with 78 total tackles…Racked up 11 tackles in win over Saginaw Valley State Oct. 2…Had 3 ˝ tackles-for-loss during the season…Started all 12 games at defensive back…Had six pass break-ups during the season to lead the team, including two in tight win over Tiffin Nov. 13…Named honorable mention All-GLIAC…Earned the team’s Big Stick award twice and was the team’s E.P.E.P. award winner once…Also earned team accolades on defense and special teams, and was a One Play Warrior…Member of the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2009: Earned the team’s Big Stick award after the win over Grand Valley State Oct. 10…Started all 13 games and tied for the team lead with 78 total tackles…Had 10 or more tackles in four of the last six games, including a season-high 11 at Northern Michigan Oct. 17…Had five or more tackles in a game nine times.

2008: Played in all 11 games, gaining valuable experience in the secondary...Recorded 15 total tackles, with five solo stops...Will have a chance to start in 2009.

2007: Redshirted as a true freshman...Named team’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week leading up to season finale vs. Saginaw Valley.

High School: Helped lead Hornets to 12-1 record and first-ever spot in state semifinals in 2006...Teammate of Mike Blanchard and Nate English...One of top offensive threats on a high-scoring high school team...Helped lead Hillsdale High School to Division 3 state baseball title.
