Men’s Track & Field team break three track records at Indiana Wesleyan University
Chargers take five first place finishes
One day after hosting the Jack McAvoy Memorial, the Charger track & field team traveled to Indiana Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon. Junior Jared Krout left his mark there by breaking the Indiana Wesleyan track records in both the 200m and 400m dashes. Krout took first place in both events with times of 22.38 and 49.62 respectively.

Alex Ralston broke the third track record for the day in the 3000m run. Ralston took first place and finished in 8:45.03. Finishing just behind him in second place was Junior Charles Wysong with a time of 8:55.35.

In a very close race in the 800m run Freshman Jeff Wysong finished first with a time of 1:58.13. Senior Joel Vanderworp took third place in 1:58.59

Other top finishers for the Chargers were Andy Pena (5th, 200m), Kelby Rosengarten (1st, 60m hurdles) and Andrew Dodson (2nd, high jump)

The Chargers next compete at the Collegiate Open Classic on January 30.
