March 2, 2009 - Hillsdale College senior Tony Gugino played the final home regular season game of his career Saturday, and Monday, earned his fourth GLIAC South Division Player of the Week honor. The award was announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Gugino has earned the award seven times in the past two seasons, the most of any player in the GLIAC.

Gugino led Hillsdale to two one-sided victories last week, over Tiffin and Ashland. He averaged 22.5 points per game as the Chargers won their two games by a total of 68 points. He shot 68 percent from the field in the team's two games, and helped Hillsdale clinch its first-ever GLIAC Tournament home game.
