March 5, 2009 - Senior teammates Tony Gugino and Keith MacKenzie were named to the First and Second-Team All-GLIAC teams respectively, in an announcement made Thursday night.

Gugino, a First-Team selection, was among the top post players in the conference throughout his career. In 2008-09, Gugino led the Chargers to a much-improved record and a second-place finish in the South Division. He averaged 15 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots per game, ranking among the GLIAC's top 10 in each category.

Gugino was also named the GLIAC South Division Player of the Week a total of four times this season, second-most of any player in the league.

MacKenzie had two stellar seasons for the Chargers after transferring from Oakland University. He was among the GLIAC leaders in assists per game, and was one of Hillsdale's best playmakers and 3-point shooters.
