On March 6, 2009, Hillsdale College's Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship in Washington, D.C., hosted its monthly “First Principles on First Fridays,” at the NRA Headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia. The featured speaker was Dr. Edward J. Erler, professor of Political Science at California State University-San Benardino.
