October 24, 2009 - Both the Hillsdale College men's and women's cross country teams finished in third place at the 2009 GLIAC Cross Country championships, hosted by Saginaw Valley State University.

Britton Deuel was named Second-Team All-Conference for the Chargers on the men's side.

Teammates Ashley Quick and Erin Brunko each earned Second-Team All-Conference honors for the women's team.

Grand Valley State reigned as the conference champs on both the men's and women's sides of the race.
