Glendening scored his first two career touchdowns, though by very different means, in Saturday's 59-14 Chargers win over Ferris State University.

Glendening blocked a punt and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter to give Hillsdale a 14-0 lead. Later in the first half, he scored in a much more conventional way, on a two-yard run, that capped a 31-0 first half for the Chargers.

Glendening ran for a career-high 43 yards in the game, and becomes the sixth different Hillsdale player to earn a conference player of the week honor this season.

The Chargers are on a four-game winning streak and will conclude the 2009 regular season with a home game vs. Tiffin at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Glendening played his prep football at East Grand Rapids High School, where he was named the Gatorade Michigan High School Player of the Year in 2008.
