November 7, 2009 - The Hillsdale College women's swimming team emerged victorious in a tri-meet at the University of Findlay Saturday afternoon, topping both the host Oilers and Alma College.

Sophomore Linda Okonkowski scored three first places in individual events, and was part of the winning 200 free relay event, which ultimately gave the Chargers the win over Findlay. Okonkowski won the 200 IM (2:14.18), 100 butterfly (1:00.07) and 500 freestyle (5:15.17) events.

Sophomore Michaela Wolfe won the 1000 freestyle event, and freshman Srah Leitner took first in the 200 free to pace the Chargers' win.
