Men's basketball team loses fourth straight, 77-63, at Lewis
November 24, 2009 - For a while, the Hillsdale College men's basketball team was in the lead in its non-league game Tuesday night.

The Chargers led the Lewis University Flyers 46-42 early in the second half. But Lewis went on a 28-6 run to open up an 18-point lead, and went on to win 77-63. Hillsdale is now 0-4 on the season and is off until its GLIAC opener Thursday, Dec. 3 vs. Lake Superior State.

Lewis shot 61 percent (11-for-18) from 3-point land in the game, while outscoring the Chargers 43-28 in the game's final 20 minutes. The Chargers shot just 6-for-23 from beyond the arc in the game.

Three players scored in double figures for Hillsdale in the game: Brent Eaton (13 points), Nick Washburn (10 points) and Luke Laser (10 points). Washburn and Brad Guinane each had four rebounds to lead the team, and Tyler Gerber scored nine for Hillsdale.
