Thomas A. Duke of Novi, Michigan, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of Hillsdale College.

Mr. Duke is the chairman of the Thomas A. Duke Company, a metro Detroit commercial real estate firm founded in 1980. He is a past president of the Western Wayne and Oakland County Board of Realtors, a past director of the First State Bank of Charlevoix, and a past chairman of the Metropolitan National Bank.

A native of Traverse City, Mr. Duke and his wife, Marilyn, have two sons, one of whom attended Hillsdale College.

 “We are honored that Tom Duke has joined our Board of Trustees,” said Hillsdale College President Larry P. Arnn. “His business experience and his understanding of Hillsdale’s educational mission will make him a valuable addition to the governance of the College.”
