Sophomore Linda Okonkowski places 22nd in butterfly event at nationals
She will swim again Friday
March 11, 2010 - Hillsdale College sophomore Linda Okonkowski has completed two of her three events at this year's NCAA Division II Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted by Lock Haven University.
Okonkowski, participating in her second national meet in her two years with the Chargers, finished in 22nd place in the 100 butterfly event. She then took 30th in the 200 IM.
Friday, she will swim in the third event she qualifed in, the 200 butterfly. She is Hillsdale's lone representative at the national championship meet this year.
