Personal: Born Aug. 13, 1990...Parents are Jeff and Kelly...Major is Undeclared...Grandfather Gary Stewart played baseball and basketball at Hillsdale College, and father Jeff is the college’s director of admissions, and played on the 1985 NAIA national championship football team. Member of Athletes in Action, holds the position of Public Relations Coordinator with Hillsdale College Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

2012: Team captain and will be entering his fourth season starting in the infield in 2013…Started all 49 games at third base…Enjoyed a productive start to the conference season, batting .389 in the first 12 games against GLIAC opponents…Only player on the team to start all 49 games during the season…Scored three runs in wild 18-17 win over Northwood April 14…Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2011: One of the anchors of the 2012 team, returning for his third season starting at third base…Started 43 games in 2011 with 25 hits, 13 runs scored and 11 RBI…Had a team-high six sacrifice bunts during the season…Had four multi-hit games during the season…One of three players, and the only one returning in 2012, to play more than 42 games in 2011…Third on the team with 59 infield assists…Fifth on the team with 30 total bases.

2010: One of the most talented first-year players to enter the Charger program in recent years, and quickly became the every-day starter at third base...Enjoyed his best stretch of games during the team's season-ending sweep of Tiffin, when he batted .667 (8-for-12) with two home runs, 6 RBI and five runs scored...Belted three doubles and one triple in the series as well...Started 43 of the team's 44 games.

High School: Broke five school records during a highly successful four-year career on Hillsdale High School’s baseball team...Led Hornets to their first-ever state championship as a sophomore in 2007..Named team MVP in 2008 and 2009 and was named Player of the Year by the Jackson Citizen Patriot...Led team to two conference titles and three straight district championships under coach Chris Adams...Earned a total of 12 varsity letters, including four in football and four in basketball...Member of the National Honor Society.
