2011: Saw his playing time increase and his role on special teams grow significantly in 2011…Played in nine games and had nine total tackles…One of team’s top “gunners” on the punting unit and has good instincts…Finished with a season-high four solo tackles in the Nov. 5 win at Findlay, and intercepted his first career pass in the Chargers’ shutout of Tiffin Nov. 12…Will compete for a starting position in the secondary in 2012.

High School: Played for longtime coach Bob Clement at Pittsford High School…Named the Wildcats’ team MVP in 2009, and led the team to a record of 22-10 in his three seasons on the varsity team…All-County quarterback, defensive back and punter, and earned honorable mention All-State accolades…Averaged nearly 10 yards per carry and 15 yards per pass as a senior, and recorded 10 tackles per game…Also played basketball and baseball and ran track at Pittsford…Member of the National Honor Society.
