GLIAC Volleyball Release - Sept. 13, 2010
September 13, 2010 - Hillsdale College junior Ashlee Crowder

was named the GLIAC South Division Player of the Week Monday afternoon. The award was announced by the conference office.
Crowder helped lead the Chargers to a 3-0 start in conference play last week by generating 34 kills in three matches, along with a .347 hitting percentage. In the team's sweep of Ashland, Crowder had 15 kills against just one error, and hit .452 for that match.
Crowder earned GLIAC Player of the Week accolades three times last season and once in her freshman season of 2008. She currently ranks third in the GLIAC in kills per set and is ninth in attack percentage. She was a First-Team All-GLIAC player in 2009 and earned Third-Team All-American honors from the AVCA a year ago.
