High School: The third player on this year's team to come from a West-Coast high school, joining Brittany Hulett and Jessica Guertin...Was a four-year letterwinner at Canby High School in Oregon, and was named First-Team All-League and Third-Team All-State following her senior season...Batted .320 in 2010, and as a freshman, was the team's leader in batting average...Team was ranked among the 10 best in Oregon in her senior season...Played travel softball for the Oregon Cougars team, coached by Chuck Oelers...Off the field, was involved in a wide range of activities, including St. Mary's Campus Ministry Services, the Boys and Girls Club of America, the Kiwanis Food Bank and Christmas for Kids...She, along with her mother Dawn, began a project called Operation Snuggle, which assisted homeless children in the Canby area, handing out blankets and care packages.
