Outdoor Track: Had a season-best time of 15:16.53 in the 5000 meter run at the Winthrop Invitational.
Indoor Track: Anchored the first-place 4x800 relay team at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational...The following week, in the same location, was the leadoff runner on the second-place distance medley relay team...Ran the mile in 4:28.82 Feb. 6 at the University of Findlay.
Cross Country: Sat out the 2009 cross country season with an injury.

2008-2009
Outdoor Track: Won the mile run at the Polar Bear Invitational with a time of 4:06.32, and had two top-10 finishes at the 2009 GLIAC Outdoor Track Championships, hosted by Hillsdale...Placed third in the 5000 meter run at the Purdue Invitational with a season-best outdoor time of 14:56.51.
Indoor Track: Had two first-place finishes during the 08-09 indoor season, starting with the mile run at the SVSU Indoor Classic...Also won the mile run at the Findlay Open with a time of 4:16.68.
Cross Country: Earned All-American honors at the 2008 Division II NCAA Cross Country championships, placing 42nd overall with a time of 32:18...Named the 2008 GLIAC Men's Cross Country Freshman of the Year and took second overall at the conference meet with a time of 25:03...Took fifth overall at the Division II regional meet, and led all Charger runners.

High School: Was the Division IV state cross country champion as a junior at Waldron High School...Was the state champion in the 1600 meter run as a senior...Also played football and basketball in high school.
