November 16, 2010 - Hillsdale College junior guard Chelsea Harrison was named the first recipient of the GLIAC South Division Player of the Week award. The honor was announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Harrison was named to the All-Tournament Team at the St. Edward's Shootout in Austin, Texas over the weekend, leading the Chargers in scoring with 16.5 points per game. She scored 19 first-half points in the team's season-opening win over Abilene Christian on Friday, and had 12 points with four made 3-point field goals in Saturday's win over Midwestern State.

For the weekend, Harrison shot 7-for-13 from 3-point territory, and also averaged three assists and three steals per game.

Harrison played her high school ball at Lowell High School.
