November 24, 2010 - Wednesday night's men's basketball game between Hillsdale College and the University of Michigan-Dearborn was appropriately played on Thanksgiving Eve, because the Chargers had themselves a feast.

Scoring the most points in a game in eight years, the Chargers improved to 5-0 on the season with a 115-60 win over the Wolves. Hillsdale, now 5-0, will host Lewis University in what is sure to be a competitive game between regional rivals at 3 p.m. Saturday.

All 17 players who played scored for Hillsdale, and the 115 points scored by the team are the most since it had 112, also against U-M Dearborn, back on Dec. 21, 2002. It is also just 15 points shy of the single-game team scoring record, which was set in 1983.

Four players scored in double figures for Hillsdale, led by season-high 18 from sophomore center Nick Washburn. He shot 8-for-10 from the floor, leading a Charger shooting effort that saw the team shoot 61 percent from the floor, and go 10-for-23 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Brent Eaton, Brandon Pritzl and Kyle Jazwiecki each scored 10 for the Chargers. Matt Clarke had seven points and six rebounds in just nine minutes of playing time, while Brad Guinane led the Chargers with seven rebounds.

Ryan Robinet and Anthony Manno each drained two 3-point shots for Hillsdale. The Chargers forced 21 turnovers and outrebounded the Wolves 41-24 in the game.
