December 3, 2010 - Hillsdale College senior football players Troy Weatherhead and Andre Holmes continue to pull in the postseason honors.

Each were named Second-Team All-Region by Daktronics this week. The Daktronics all-region teams are compiled on a vote conducted by sports information directors at schools located within Region Three.

Weatherhead was the 2010 GLIAC Player of the Year, and led the conference in total passing yards, averaging passing yards per game and pass efficiency rating. He set an NCAA all-divisions record in 2010 by completing 76 percent of his passes, and set GLIAC single-season and career records for pass completion percentage.

Holmes broke nearly every receiving record Hillsdale College has, both during the 2010 season and throughout his career. This season, he caught a school-record 104 passes for 1,368 yards and 11 touchdowns. In his final collegiate game, Nov. 20 at St. Cloud State in the Division II playoffs, he caught 16 passes for 208 yards.
