Indoor Track: Joined the track program after finishing her volleyball career and joined the throwers...Took second place in the shot put at the SVSU Cardinal Meet (12.65 meters)...Finished 11th in the GLIAC championships in the shot put...Sixth-place finisher in the shot put at the GVSU Tune-Up Meet.

High School: Three-year starter at Cedar Springs High School, playing mostly at the left-side hitter position...Two-time All-Conference selection...Voted team captain and team MVP after her senior year...Rang up 473 kills and 76 service aces, both team-highs...Named to the “Advance” All-Area team for the Northern Michigan area...Also an outstanding track athlete...Four-time All-Conference track athlete, with multiple regional titles in the shot put event...Holds school record for most career points in girls track, and was a four-time state qualifier in track, one of two such athletes in Cedar Springs High School history...Holds and shares five school records in shot put, discus, 400 meter relay, 800 meter relay and the 100 meter dash...Played on two different AAU volleyball teams in the Cedar Springs area, and won a championship at a tournament held at Grand Valley State University in 2005...Youngest of four children.
