2012: Tied for team lead with two home runs, coming in back to back games against Northwood April 14 and 15…Started 32 of the 35 games he played in during his first season with the Chargers…Went 4-for-10 with five runs scored in those two games against the Timberwolves…Batted .400 with 12 runs scored in an eight-game stretch from April 14-21…Was hit by a pitch eight times, leading the team…Was hit by a pitch three times in the same game against Northwood April 14.

High School: Earned four varsity letters in baseball at Hastings High School...Led team to 30-6 record in 2009, while batting .420 with 38 RBI...Named the OK Gold Conference Athlete of the Year and was team captain and co-most valuable player...Named Academic All-District...Went on to attend Kellogg Community College, where he helped that team to the MCCAA championship in 2010...Team was regional runner-ups that season...Led team to a fourth-place finish at the 2011 Division II JUCO World Series and a regional championship.
