Michigan Tech edges Hillsdale in tennis, 5-4
Chargers' match vs. LSSU Sat. to be held in Okemos

September 23, 2011 - After a 10-day break from competition, the Hillsdale College women's tennis team was back in action Friday afternoon at home.

The Chargers lost a closely fought match with Michigan Tech University, 5-4. Hillsdale is now 2-6 overall and 1-4 in conference play. Hillsdale will take on Lake Superior State University at 1 p.m. Saturday, but due to wet court conditions, the match will be held at Court One East in Okemos, which is located on the west side of the Lansing area, a little over an hour's drive north from Hillsdale.

Junior Brittany Parks rallied from an early deficit to post an exciting 6-7, 6-3, 10-6 win at No. 1 singles. She also won the doubles part of her day, with partner Morgan Delp, by an 8-5 score.
