Tennis team shows improvement in loss to Lake Superior State
Lake Superior State 6, Hillsdale 3

September 24, 2011 - Improvement can be measured in various ways, even in a loss. In the case of the Hillsdale College tennis team, improvement was on display Saturday.

The Chargers met Lake Superior State University for the second time this season on Saturday, and were dealt a 6-3 loss by the Lakers. The first time these two teams met, in the first weekend of the season, LSSU came away with an 8-1 win.

One consistent performer for the Chargers was junior Brittany news story image Parks (pictured), who won at No. 1 singles for the second time this season vs. LSSU, defeating Adrienne DiVito 6-1, 6-4.

Freshman Morgan Delp turned a loss in the first meeting into a win in the most recent one, earning a 7-5, 6-4 win over Erin Anderson-Scott. Delp and Parks then teamed up for a win at No. 1 doubles, by an 8-6 count, over the Lakers.
