November 20, 2011 - Hillsdale College junior Amanda Putt made it 3-for-3 in teh calendar year of 2011 when it comes to All-American honors.

Earlier in the year, Putt was named an All-American in both indoor and outdoor track. Saturday afternoon, she completed the circle with an All-American finish at the 2011 NCAA Division II women's cross country championships, held in Spokane, news story imageWashington.

Putt finished 19th overall with a time of 21:55.6. The top 36 finishers (as individuals) earn All-American accolades.

Putt's finish is also the highest-ever at the Division II nationals for a Charger women's cross country runner. Her mark gives the Hillsdale College program an All-American runner in each of the past three years, as she joins the elite club made up of Ashley Quick and Erin Brunko.

The All-American finish capped one of the finest seasons ever turned in by a Charger women's cross country runner. In 2011, Putt won both the Michigan Intercollegiate meet - held at Hillsdale's Hayden Park - and the Midwest Regional meet.
