December 3, 2011 - The Hillsdale College women's basketball team fell to 0-2 in GLIAC play with a 68-64 loss at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio Saturday afternoon.

The Chargers will play their next three games at home, starting with Thursday's conference home opener against the University of Findlay starting at 6 p.m.

Hillsdale was held to a season-low 18 points in the first half, but the team's offense picked up in the second half. Sophomore Angela Bisaro, who finished with 13 points, had eight of those in the first seven minutes of the half to help get some juice flowing in the Charger offense.

However, as Hillsdale discovered its offensive rhythm, so did the Storm, who maintained its lead throughout the second half over the Chargers. LEC built a lead that reached 16 at one time, but Hillsdale battled back, cutting the lead to five with around a minute to play.

But the deficit proved to be too much to overcome, given the time left in the game for the Chargers.

Senior Katie Bildner played a strong game for the Chargers, recording her first double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds. She also had three assists and four steals in 35 minutes of action on the court. Bisaro and sophomore Marissa DeMott each had 13 points, while senior Chelsea Harrison finished the game with 10 points and six assists.

Freshman guard Kadie Lowery came off the bench to score a career-high eight points in six productive minutes for Hillsdale.
