2011 Division II women's cross country All-Academic awards release
February 9, 2012 - Three Hillsdale College women's cross country runners were named recipients of the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic awards for the fall 2011 season.
Seniors Melissa TenKate and Jennifer Shaffer, along with junior Amanda Putt, were each recognized for their achievement in the classroom, along with their accomplishments on the cross country course.
Scholar Athletes are determined from among those who earned All-Academic status and placed highest individually at the most recent NCAA Championships.
A total of 354 women nationwide received this award, and the GLIAC placed second among all conferences with 37 individual honors.
