February 27, 2012 - Hillsdale College senior Brad Guinane captured his second GLIAC South Division Player of the Week honor Monday afternoon. The award was announced and chosen by the conference office.

Guinane hit an offensive rebound-putback in what turned out to be the game-winning shot in Hillsdale's 84-83 overtime win at Ferris State on Feb. 22. Guinane led the Chargers in that stirring victory with 20 points and 11 rebounds, going 6-for-10 from the field for the conference regular season champs.

Guinane finished the 2011-12 regular season by averaging 13.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in leading the Chargers to a 22-4 record and the number one seed in this week's GLIAC Tournament.
