March 10, 2012 - One of the biggest clubs around Hillsdale College welcomed two new members Saturday.
Sophomore Maurice Jones and senior Nate English became the newest All-Americans in Hillsdale College's rich history in men's track and field.

Jones earned his distinction in the 400 meter dash with a sixth-place finish of 48.15 seconds. This was a very competitive race, with first through eighth place being separated by less than a full second. Jones is another one of Hillsdale's track athletes who have steadily improved throughout the season, culminating in the high point of his collegiate career to this point.
English set a new high mark in an awards-filled career that spans back to his days at Hillsdale High School. He finished eighth in the shot put event with a throw of 16.82 meters. English got to his All-American mark by just .02 meters ahead of Ashland's D.J. Duke, who finished in ninth place.
