Powerful, speedy and productive hitter for Tecumseh High School, and played a key role in helping the Indians to the 2008 state championship when she was a freshman…Raised her batting average from .304 in 2008 to .455 in 2011, achieving single-season career highs in hits (38 in 2009), doubles (11 in 2009 and 2011), RBI (31 in 2009) and runs scored (42 in 2011)…Stole 45 bases in her career, 23 of them coming in her senior season of 2011…Led Tecumseh to four conference titles, three district championships and two regional titles…Winner of the Marsh Award, emblematic of Tecumseh High School’s most athletic female…All-District three times, All-Region twice, All-Conference three times and was named honorable mention All-State in 2011…Also played varsity basketball and volleyball, and was a member of the school’s cross country and cheerleading teams…Played travel softball for the Michigan Warriors and helped team qualify for nationals in 2008, 2009 and 2010…Had 29 stolen bases with a .393 batting average in the summer of 2009…Related to Charger men’s basketball alum Mike Ruhl…Member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, HOPE (Helping Others People Excel), SADD, Business Professionals of America, and won department academic awards in biology, Spanish, geometry and U.S. history…Transferred to Hillsdale from Eastern Michigan University, but will gave four years of eligibility with the Chargers…Born March 27, 1993…Parents are Mitchell and Michele.
