Slayton Arboretum to Celebrate First Day of Autumn
Hillsdale, Michigan - The Slayton Arboretum at Hillsdale College will host a celebration of the first day of autumn on Saturday, September 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This year’s featured exhibit, “Birds of Prey,” is provided by the Leslie Science and Nature Center, which will bring live specimens to the festival, including a bald eagle. Children’s activities include face painting, crafts, and games.

Slayton Arboretum is located on Barber Drive at the North end of Union Street. In the event of inclement weather please listen to WCSR AM 1340 or FM 92.1

Slayton Arboretum seeks to display and preserve living plant collections and native plant communities, and to study and disseminate knowledge about plants through teaching, research, education, publications and public outreach programs.
