The Hillsdale College Shotgun Team traveled to Indianapolis for the weekend of February 16-17 to compete in the SCTP Midwest Regional hosted by Purdue University. Eight colleges were registered to compete in Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays.

The conditions were brutal as temperatures on Saturday hovered around 10 degrees, with some sunshine and relief from the cold on Sunday. The weather was no match for the hardy Hillsdale team, though. They took 1st place in Sporting Clays, 3rd place in Trap, and 2nd in the High Overall award!

The team is now preparing for the national tournament in March. They are a top contender in Division II.
