September 27, 2007 - The first half of this year's trip to Erie, Pa. went as planned for the Hillsdale College volleyball team.

Golden Knights at Gannon's Hammermill Center Friday night. Hillsdale is now 15-4 overall and 6-0 in the GLIAC, and will face Mercyhurst College at noon Saturday.
Hillsdale won the three games by scores of 30-23, 30-16 and 30-27. The Chargers have swept the Golden Knights 3-0 six straight times.
Senior Melissa Bartlett had a dominant match from her outside hitter position, registering 22 kills and a .344 attack percentage. As a team, Hillsdale hit .312 for the match. Sophomore Emily Bennett contributed 7 kills and hit .467, while sophomore Kittrick Smith had six kills and hit .375.
Junior Stephanie Booms handed out 35 assists, while Bartlett and senior Megan Howard led the team with nine digs apiece.
