November 19, 2007 - Hillsdale College junior Katie Cezat was awarded her first career GLIAC South Division Player of the Week honor Monday afternoon. The award was announced by the conference office.

Cezat was named the tournament MVP at the Wolf Bus Lines Tournament, held at Shippensburg, Pa. over the weekend. Cezat, making her first two career starts, totaled 44 points and 18 rebounds to help lead Hillsdale to a 2-0 record. The Chargers defeated West Virginia Weslyan 66-55 and host Shippensburg 64-49 in the two-day tournament.

Cezat and the Chargers will play at the AU Thanksgiving Classic in Ashland, Ohio this weekend.
