Charger men win 97-96 road thriller over St. Francis
December 18, 2007 - In the highest scoring game of the season, the Hillsdale College men's basketball team came away with its third win in a row Monday night.
Hillsdale (6-3) defeated St. Francis (Ill.) 97-96 in Joilet, Ill. in a non-league contest.
Senior Tim Homan nailed six 3-point field goals and finished with a team-high 30 points for the Chargers. In his last three games, Homan has scored a total of 91 points.
Junior Travis Worst scored a career-high 23 for Hillsdale, while Tony Gugino had 20 points and eight rebounds.
