January 21, 2008 - For the second time this season, Charger junior Katie Cezat was named the GLIAC South Division Player of the Week. The award was announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Cezat, a forward, helped Hillsdale go 1-1 in last wekeend's two-day, two-game trip through the Upper Peninsula. In Sunday's 65-46 Charger win over Northern Michigan, Cezat led all players with 27 points and 14 rebounds, while dishing out a career-high five assists.

Cezat is enjoying an outstanding season for the 13-3 Chargers. She is currently second in the GLIAC in scoring (20-.9 points per game) and is the conference's leading rebounder (11.9 per game). Hillsdale's 6-2 record is good for first place in the GLIAC South Division.

The Chargers begin a four-game, two-week homestand Thursday when they host Mercyhurst College at 6 p.m.
