February 11, 2008 - For an amazing fourth straight week, Hillsdale College junior Katie Cezat has been named the GLIAC South Division Player of the Week. The award was announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Cezat averaged 26 points and 11 rebounds per game in two big Charger wins last week. Cezat led Hillsdale to wins by 36 and 35 points at Gannon and Mercyhurst on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. In Thursday's win, her 31 points marked the third game in a row she had scored 30 or more points.

She ranks in the top 11 in six different categories, including first in scoring and rebounding. She is second in field goal shooting, third in blocked shots, eighth in minutes played and 11th in free throw percentage.

Hillsdale College clinched the GLIAC South Division championship with Saturday's 90-55 win at Mercyhurst. It's the first division title for Hillsdale since the 2002-03 season.
